We've been able to look into PART ONE of the above topic in the last few days, which was written out of my desire to bless souls. Today, I'm going to take us to Part two of LEAVING BEHIND THE CROWD FOR YOUR CROWN. This is because purposeful minds have always maintained wise decisions amidst distractions. Though in most cases, they are faced with challenges that try to sweep their faith off their anchor, still they hold strong their beliefs and walk their talk.
I've said it before, and I want to reiterate it here that indecision is abuse of purpose. Blaming the environment has never changed a thing; we only need to change the mindset.
That's a great decision!.
That's a profitable responsibility!
Until we came to the climax of the fact that achieving a purpose must be first initiated through a personal perception about the present, past and future understanding about life, the journey will appear frightening. It's a personal perception not a crowded persuasions that gives us the key to unlock into our victorious ground. It's a decision of making out time for oneself and not being moved by trendy activities.
Life, apart from purpose, will stagnate. It's like a cog on the wheel of progress. It conceals God's purpose for a man who fails to adopt the above principles.
When a man allows things to be a master over him, he becomes vulnerable to his fears, worries and environment. Friends, try and develop affirmative attitudes I call it Autosuggestion. Change your thought pattern. A positive attitude is a starting point to a great life. You'll live to win when you see attitude as everything.
Again, don't fail to prioritize values; it's your pay check. When you do so, you'll not be moved by trends. My friend called me one morning with a fine smile beaming on his face and with tones of inquisitiveness written over his mien. He asked, "Ossy do you wish to write like who?" I said friend, I've never wished to write like Napoleon Hill, Bob Gass, the legend Myles Munroe or Ralph Waldo Emerson. I've never thought of preaching like Creflo Dollar, Rick Warren, T.D Jakes. I seldom think of singing like Don Moen.
These are great pliable vessels, and I love them so much. But you see, these men had killed their lions long ago because they were able to discover their purposes. They knew that they were created original, they did not imitate. I want to be myself also. To kill my own lion dear reader, is to be original. My purpose is to put smiles on those faces who come across Ossy holding a pen.
Be an original, that's the first step required for your crown. Value your God-given gifts. Believe you me, you're a purpose calling for fulfillment.
To this end, always remember that abuse of purpose is like a sledge object that destroys destinies. Your purpose is what attracts your glory. Forget about the crowd and go for your crown. God bless you.
